Prince of Egypt (1998)
“Many nights we’ve prayed with no proof anyone could hear. In our hearts a hopeful song we barely understood. Now we are not afraid, although we know there’s much to fear. We were moving mountains long before we knew we could.”I think there are some problematic things in this movie, but besides that it is absolutely gorgeous. I’m surprised I understood the plot when it came out, because I was like 5. I’m also surprised I was even watching it because it is actually one of the most depressing movies ever. There is like one moment of comedic relief in this entire movie. The rest of the time I wanted to cry.
